An Art Project To Celebrate 1000 years of Oxfordshire's History

Spoon Race is producing a marathon of 1000 wooden spoon people displayed together as a collective work of art. The wooden spoons are being created in a number of workshops across the county in schools, community centres, hospitals, galleries, and museums.

Open workshops for the public are available through the Oxford Literary Festival, Ashmolean Museum, Wantage Vale and Downland Museum, Banbury Museum, Henley River and Rowing Museum.

Spoon Race is supported by Oxford Inspires, The Ashmolean Museum, The Big Draw, Kids@art, Modern Art Oxford and Early Learning Centre, Banbury.
